When you are suffering from Back pain, it is important to maintain a proper posture whether you are sitting or standing or bending and even when sleeping.As we have no control over our body while we sleep there is a great chance of straining your body. To avoid any such problems, sleeping in porper positions can help your back pain. Most of the times people suffer from getting a good night sleep due to the back pain.
Our back bone/spine is naturally curved structure. If we don't sleep in correct posture this can aggrevate your pain due to the pressure on the nerve. There are 3 positions that can help to take off any pressure on your nerve.
Sleep on supine position/facing up with 1 pillow under your knees, 1 under your lower back(small and lean pillow) and 1 under your head.
While lying on your tummy use 1 pillow under your tummy and 1 pillow under your head.
While lying on the side ways use a pillow in between your knees, 1 pillow under your back as shown on the picture and 1 pillow under your head.
These 3 positions are really good at helping someone who is suffering from back pain especially "Sciatica". Every one's body is different and the position which worked for one person might be different to other person. So, please do try different positions and see which one works best for you.
